Makusina Home Care Services wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who are blind, have low vision or use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What this site does

  • A "Larger text" button at the top of every page. Your choice is remembered on this device.
  • Text keeps to your browser settings, and pages can be zoomed to 400% without losing content.
  • Strong colour contrast, and even stronger contrast when your device asks for it, including Windows High Contrast mode.
  • Every page works with a keyboard, with a clear focus outline and a "Skip to main content" link.
  • Descriptions of photos for screen readers, and decorative icons hidden from them.
  • Animations are switched off when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • The whole site is available in English and Spanish.
